"Go Dot" is a film by Marco Di Battista, born from participating in the #overthefortress march in 2016, in which 300 people brought active and concrete solidarity to the over 10,000 refugees stranded in Idomeni, on the Greek-Macedonian border.

The title of the work is a clear reference to Samuel Beckett's play, "Waiting for Godot," and the explanation that the author himself gives of Godot, namely the literal translation of Go (go) and Dot (stop/point).

Unlike Beckett's play, the condition of "stall" in this case is imposed from above, by Fortress Europe, which through billion-dollar agreements decides the lives of thousands of people who find themselves wandering in camps for months waiting to be able to "go."

The work focuses on moments of daily life in refugee camps, life that flows while waiting to cross the border, through long sequences, mostly full-frame fixed shots and direct sound combined with original musical pieces.
